Rhys (Luke McKenzie) is an officer who sneaks the Australian no man’s land catching the undead. He takes them to a stopgap research office where the purported Surgeon General (Nicholas Boshier) performs appalling looking systems on them, wanting to track down a fix. One individuals Rhys catches is a youthful human/zombie crossover named Grace (Tasia Zalar). Her sister Maxi (Shantae Barnes-Cowan) observes Rhys and requests that he return to assist with protecting her, as she might hold the way to annihilating the infection. Bianca Bradey returns as Brooke, the zombie with mind control controls over other undead people. She participates in the work to protect Grace.
