We recently saw the premiere of “Predator: The Hunt,” a film about a cowboy trying to survive against a ferocious creature. We only had to wait a month for “Beast,” an essentially similar proposal in which the fierce enemy is a lion, to hit theaters. The film sells itself by promising Idris Elba confronting a lion, but “Beast” is much more than that. Be cautious, because this does not imply that it is an important film, but rather that it is a fast and powerful work that knows how to make itself complicated just enough to provide the viewer with an exciting experience.
